Examples - 6 String

This is the first guitar I made, on a guitar making course at the Totnes School of Guitar Making. The front is spruce, with a walnut bridge and corner bindings. The back and sides are of "Flamed" maple. The neck is also maple, with a walnut fingerboard and Headstock veneer. The inlay in the headstock veneer, and the round fret markers are Abalone shell.
The guitar's outline is my own design, based on classic "Jumbo" designs, such as that made by Gibson, but is slightly smaller and thiner, and has a cutaway. the scale length is 640mm.
